Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of wedding styling services by Wedsy Pty Ltd (ABN 97 167 678 382) (“Wedsy”, “we”, “us” or “our”) to you, the client. By accepting a quote or paying any deposit, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Wedsy is a Sydney-based wedding styling studio operating across Sydney, Wollongong, the Illawarra and the Southern Highlands, New South Wales, Australia.

Your booking is not confirmed until we have received a signed or electronically accepted copy of your quote and payment of the $500 non-refundable token deposit.

Dates are held on a provisional basis only during the enquiry and quotation process. We reserve the right to accept other bookings for the same date until your booking is confirmed in writing and the token deposit is received.

Any verbal, email or social media discussions about your wedding do not constitute a confirmed booking.

All prices quoted by Wedsy are inclusive of Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the current rate of 10%, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Prices in marketing materials, on our website and in cost estimator tools are indicative only and subject to change. Your confirmed price is the amount set out in your signed quote.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing if your requirements change materially after a quote has been issued. We will always seek your written approval before proceeding with any variations that affect your total price.

Token Deposit ($500): Due upon booking confirmation. Non-refundable under all circumstances.

20% Deposit: Due within 7 calendar days of accepting your quote. This secures your production slot and material sourcing.

Final Balance: Due 30 days prior to your wedding date. No services will be provided if the final balance has not been received in full by this date.

We accept payment by bank transfer (EFT) and credit card (surcharge may apply). Payment details will be included in your invoice. Late payments may incur interest at 2% per month.

Cancellation by Client: The $500 token deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances. If you cancel more than 90 days before your wedding date, any deposits paid beyond the token deposit will be refunded less a 15% administration fee. If you cancel within 90 days of your wedding date, no refunds will be issued.

Postponements: We will make every effort to transfer your booking to your new date subject to our availability. A $250 postponement administration fee applies. If we are unavailable on your new date, all deposits paid excluding the $500 token deposit will be refunded in full.

Cancellation by Wedsy: In the unlikely event that Wedsy must cancel due to circumstances within our control, we will provide a full refund of all amounts paid and endeavour to assist you in finding suitable alternative suppliers.

Wedsy provides a combination of services and hire items. Items designated as “hire” in your quote (including but not limited to arches, plinths, vases, candelabras and charger plates) remain the property of Wedsy and must be returned in good condition.

Hire items will be collected by Wedsy at a pre-agreed time following your event. If hire items are damaged, lost or not available for collection at the agreed time, you will be charged for the cost of repair or replacement at our discretion.

All personal florals (bouquets, buttonholes, corsages, flower girl pieces) are yours to keep following your wedding.

Wedsy specialises exclusively in premium silk, faux and dried floral arrangements. We do not supply fresh flowers. Clients should be aware that:

• Silk florals may have minor colour variations between production batches.
• We will source materials to match your approved colour palette as closely as possible, but an exact match cannot be guaranteed.
• All arrangement photos and portfolio images are indicative of style and quality; exact replications of third-party images cannot be guaranteed.

By booking with Wedsy, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use photographs of our work at your wedding, including photographs that identify you personally, for our portfolio, website, social media and marketing materials.

If you do not wish your wedding to be featured in our marketing, please notify us in writing prior to your wedding date and we will honour your request.

We love being tagged — please follow and tag us @wedsy_we on Instagram if you share photographs of our work.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wedsy's total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the supply of services (whether in contract, tort, statute or otherwise) is limited to the total amount paid by you to Wedsy.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental or special loss or damage, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity or loss of enjoyment.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any guarantees, warranties, rights or remedies that you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot be excluded by law.

Wedsy will not be in breach of these Terms and will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform if that delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, extreme weather events, natural disasters, pandemic, government orders, war, civil unrest, or supply chain disruptions.

In a force majeure event, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and will work with you in good faith to find an equitable resolution.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
